Interprofessional education
Topic Editors - Jill Thistlethwaite and Monica Moran
Interprofessional education (IPE) occurs when ‘two or more professions learn with, from, and about each other to improve collaboration and the quality of care’ (Centre for the Advancement of Interprofessional Education, 2002). IPE aims to ensure that health and social care professional students and practitioners have the capabilities required for effective collaborative interprofessional practice (IPP).
